Irish iGaming concern NSUS Limited has announced that its GGPoker-branded online poker service has received permission from the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) regulator to begin offering its wares to punters in the Netherlands.
The Dublin-headquartered operator used an official press release published by European Gaming Media and Events to declare that its domain at GGPoker.nl received a Dutch license on October 1 and has now gone fully live following a brief ‘soft launch period’. The firm moreover pronounced that the site used this two-week interlude to resolve ‘any delays encountered’ by punters and partially streamline its ‘account set up and funding processes.’
Conscientious concern:
NSUS Limited, which was already licensed by authorities from the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man, stated that its GGPoker.nl service also comes complete with KSA-mandated ‘responsible gaming and other safer gambling features’ so as to ensure that punters can have ‘peace of mind and control’ every time they step up to the virtual baize.
Trailblazing triumph:
For his part and Marco Trucco, Europe Managing Director for NSUS Limited, used the press release to proclaim that his company has now become ‘among the very first global operators to receive a Dutch license’ with the domain at GGPoker.nl allowing online poker aficionados in the Netherlands ‘to enjoy the best poker software and the most exciting tournaments and cash game action.’

The receipt of a Dutch iGaming license for NSUS Limited comes just days before the Saturday start of its Good Game Series of Poker (GGSOP) extravaganza, which is to feature a $7.25 million aggregate prize pool. The operator used a second press release to disclose that this online poker series is set to run for two weeks offering aficionados the chance to compete for cash prizes across 54 events featuring buy-ins from as low as $2.50 and up to a maximum of $50.
Paul Burke from NSUS Limited divulged that qualifying flights for some of the GGSOP’s earliest events have already begun with the whole affair set to conclude from November 6 with a $50 buy-in main event featuring a guaranteed $200,000 prize pool.
